South Africa Gets Hot And Other Cool Deals

We are so done wit the stay- cation trend. That was cute when the economy was scary and we checked into our local neighborhood hotels    lured by their inexpensive packages. Now, it's time to upgrade (even if your wallet is light) thanks to these destinations that are a world away but aren't too heavy on the pay.

South Africa

When to go: The World Cup takes place between June 11 - July 11 so make sure to touch-down in Capetown then to catch soccer royalty, David and Victoria Beckham and Kim Kardashian cheering on her new beau, Christiano Ronaldo. Visit South Africa's visitor site to get ideas if The Cup isn't your thing.

Hotel to book: Once a colony, Capetown is dotted with several manners and plantations that have been converted into hotels and The Dockhouse is the best. For travelers seeking a more urban atmosphere, the Sugar Hotel and Spa is at the center of Capetown near the beaches and hotspots.

Where to eat: For sturdy French fare check out 6 Spin Street Restaurant. Stroll down own of Capetown's chicest streets, Adderley Street, and you will get a great variety of eateries such as Bowl and Patat.

What to do: Skip snapping photos of giraffes on safari, snap a pic of Kim Kradashian instead.

What to do: Guest activities include zip-line tours, white water rafting and surfing but you can escape the resort to explore the Peninsula de Papagayo or Marina Papagayo.

Hawaii

When to go: When is it a bad time to visit Hawaii?

Hotels to book: With several resorts throughout the islands, Aqua Hotels and Resorts are offering many special offers at all of their hotels.
